Brian Small – director
Brian Small has more than 20 years national, trans-Tasman and international experience as a communications and public affairs professional. His expertise lies in corporate communications, particularly in the area of crisis and risk management. Brian has managed major crises in Australia and New Zealand involving ship groundings, oil spills and gas explosions. He is often called on to present to conferences and seminars on crisis and risk management. He served on the committee of the New Zealand Society of Risk Management from 2003 to 2005. Brian also has significant experience in the design and implementation of social marketing programmes covering education, employment, the environment, biosecurity, welfare and the electoral system. He has indepth knowledge of New Zealand’s energy sector.
