Paul Plummer – director
Paul Plummer knows how organisations can gain access to the political process in order to contribute to the development of public policy, or influence the decision-making process. His profound understanding of the political process comes as a result of more than 20 years experience of working in the Parliamentary precinct as a senior advisor to Cabinet Ministers representing both Labour and National Governments. For seven years, Paul was Prime Minister Jim Bolger’s senior private secretary. He has also worked for Ministers responsible for a wide range of portfolios, including Foreign Affairs, Science and Technology, Environment, Conservation, Education and Pacific Island Affairs. Paul has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the workings of the House and has an extensive list of parliamentary contacts both at the political and officials levels.
